Koen is a trailblazer in process improvement, innovation, and digital tools. With a legal background, he prioritizes business users, rules, and regulations. Since 2014, Koen has worked on enterprise blockchain applications, starting in the financial services industry, later adding (local) governments. Currently, he focuses on supply chain and sustainability / ESG driven projects like Botanical Water Technologies and the Fujitsu ESG Management Platform.

Koen is well known in Belgium's enterprise blockchain space, lecturing at top business schools and delivering insightful keynotes. He co-founded the BelTug Blockchain Taskforce, the #Blockchain4Belgium initiative and joined the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum Expert Panel.
